BALANCE YOUR PH WITH PROJECT JUICE’S ALKALINITY KIT
08.13.15
By Andrea Hammer
Project Juice is adding an Alkalinity Kit to its cold-pressed juice offerings, available online and in store for delivery and pick up. The body’s pH level is essential for bone health and reducing inflammation, which are critical for healthy aging and disease prevention.
Project Juice’s Alkalinity Kit is comprised of three lemon-juice based juices, which aid in body alkalinity. The juices—The Master, Black Magic, and Turmeric Lemonade—are made up of organic, non-GMO ingredients like thermogenic cayenne, activated coconut charcoal, and anti-inflammatory turmeric. Combined, the trio reduces cravings, eliminates boating, and helps overcome those mid-afternoon slumps.
But why is alkalinity so important?
Certified nutritional consultant Lori Kenyon Farley, Project Juice co-founder and director of product development, says that “The foods we eat leave either an alkaline or acidic residue in the bloodstream, based on their mineral content. If our diet isn’t balanced with the proper amount of acidic and alkalizing properties, our bodies will compensate by leaching mineral from our tissues to maintain the balance. This leaching leads to bone loss, wrinkles, joint inflammation and creates a fertile environment for disease to grow.”
The Alkalinity Kit is available for delivery nationwide at $85.50 per kit, including shipping. You can also find the kits at Southern and Northern California Project Juice retail stores.
Project Juice's Orange County locations include Laguna Beach, The CAMP Costa Mesa and Corona del Mar.
